What makes a great mobile survival game?

Navigating life on an island (or another harsh environment) takes more than just grit. The best survival games on mobile require players to overcome complex player-versus-environment (PvE) and player-versus-player (PvP) challenges, such as:

• Deep resource management and base-building mechanics that test your core survival skills
• An active alliance or tribal system that calls for deft diplomacy and teamwork
• Conflicts with rivals that require social deduction to outwit the competition
• A sense of adventure, where you explore an unknown open world

Top survival and social deduction games often blend these elements, putting your resourcefulness and tactical decision-making to the test. But unlike the Survivor show, you don’t have to worry about winning immunity idols or saving yourself from the tribal council vote.

The tribe has spoken. Here are the best survival and multiplayer alliance games available on 91Ӱƽ.³ If you’re a do-or-die player who loves an adventure, check out these survivor games that incorporate resource management, alliance systems, and island exploration.

1. Whiteout Survival

Whiteout Survival¹ may not take place on an island, but it’ll definitely test your resourcefulness. In the aftermath of a blizzard apocalypse, you have to fire up the furnace and rebuild your town to survive the freeze. But deftly managing resources is hard when you have to deal with snowstorms, a vulnerable workforce, and enemy forces beyond your walls.

Whiteout Survival is one of the best survival games on Android and iOS for strategist survivors who love challenging PvE obstacles and deep base-building mechanics. This survival game also lets you pursue adventure by recruiting heroes, going on expeditions, and battling on the icefield. Plus, its complex alliance system means you can join forces with powerful friends and participate in bonus events to support your growing settlement.

2. State of Survival: Zombie War

In State of Survival,¹ you’re on the frontlines of the zombie war. Shore up your shelter by upgrading your buildings, research labs, and defenses. You’ll also need to set up solid supply lines so you don’t run out of resources at your Headquarters.

Combat is a major component of surviving in the zombie apocalypse, so you have to train your troops and power up your skills to have a fighting chance. You can even join other players to take on the undead mob together. State of Survival has a variety of high-stakes modes depending on your preferred playstyle, including Survival Royale, Desert Survival, and Paw-Some Puzzle Party.

3. Family Island

Family Island¹ is a cozy island survival game where you’re dropped on a deserted island during the Stone Age. With no modern technology, you have to use your wits to explore wild lands, construct a village, and start your own family farm.

Unlike other conflict-based games, Family Island focuses on farming simulation elements such as harvesting, cooking, and trading, which is great for players who want a relaxing game pace. What’s more, you can decorate your village and befriend local animals (including a dinosaur) as part of your island adventure.

4. Rise of Kingdoms: Lost Crusade

Build your empire from the ground up in Rise of Kingdoms.¹ Along with exploring unknown lands, you have to strategically gather resources and defend your kingdom base against your rivals.

Rise of Kingdom is more combat-focused than other survival games, making it a great choice for players who enjoy planning real-time battles and leveling up commanders. It also has a robust alliance system that lets you coordinate with other players to expand your territories across an enemy-riddled map.

5. Stormshot: Isle of Adventure

Stormshot: Isle of Adventure¹ is a shooting-style survival game where you explore the mysteries of Skull Isle by solving puzzles. Aim true and think on your feet to beat 500+ levels, take out enemies, and create a formidable stronghold in this misty paradise.

In Stormshot, you’ll encounter lost treasures, dungeons, and sea monsters on your journey to mastering the isle. This survival game also has some light base-building elements, where you can form Survivor-style alliances with others and engage in epic PvP battles.
